BROCCOLI AND RICE CASSEROLE 
2 (10 oz.) boxed chopped broccoli, defrosted
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. butter
1 large onion, chopped
1 sm. jar Cheez Whiz (regular or Mexican)
2 c. Minute Rice
Chicken, cooked and deboned (optional)

Saute onion in butter. Add soup and Cheez Whiz. After Cheez is melted add rice and defrosted broccoli. Put in buttered 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or microwave until hot.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

This is nearly identical to the yummy version that I grew up with. But it had milk in it, about a cup and a half, I think. And it emphasized that the rize was "raw" or dry. And it cooked a little longer, and a slightly lower temp.
