CHOW CHOW 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
5 lbs. tomatoes
4 onions
3 c. bell peppers
1 1/2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 head cabbage, shredded
2 1/2 tbsp. salt
3 c. vinegar

Wash and let tomatoes soak for 3 hours with chopped cabbage, onions, peppers, mustard seed and salt. Heat vinegar and sugar to boiling; let simmer for 10 minutes. Pour over cabbage, tomatoes, etc. Place in jars.
