GRANNY JENNIE'S CHOW-CHOW 
1 1/2 gallon chopped cabbage
12 red sweet peppers, chopped
12 green sweet peppers, chopped
3 qt. green tomatoes
1/2 c. salt
3 pods hot pepper, cut fine

Mix all ingredients together and put in cloth bag; let drain overnight on clothesline. Next morning, mix: 6 tsp. ground mustard Sm. can ginger 1 tsp. mustard seed 3 tbsp. celery seed Handful whole spice 3 c. vinegar

Bring to simmering point; put cabbage mixture in and heat. Put in jars and seal.
