BEST - EVER CHOW CHOW 
2 qt. grated cabbage
1 qt. green tomatoes
3 red bell peppers
3 green bell peppers
1 pt. onions
Hot pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. turmeric powder
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 pt. vinegar

Finely cut tomatoes, peppers and onions. Combine with grated cabbage. Mix together remaining ingredients and cook until thick; stirring constantly. Add vegetables. Cook 15 minutes. Pack in sterilized jars and adjust 2 piece caps. Makes about 3 quarts.

Process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes or refrigerate for at least 2 weeks before using.

Quantities for half a recipe:

4 cups grated cabbage
2 cups green tomatoes
1 cup red bell peppers
1 cup green bell peppers
1 cup onions
1 small hot pepper
2 1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 cups vinegar

Process as above. Makes about 3 pints.
