CABBAGE CHOW-CHOW 
3 hot peppers
1 med. cabbage
1 1/2 bunches of celery, cut up
1/2 gal. onions
1/2 gal. green tomatoes

Grind the balance. Scald and drain. Mix:

3/16 c. salt
1/4 box celery seed
1/4 box mustard seed
1/4 box dry mustard
1/2 box mixed spices
1 tsp. turmeric
1 qt. vinegar
4 lb. sugar
2 tbsp. black pepper

Bring this to a boil, add all other ingredients and let boil slow for 20 minutes. Seal in jars. Makes 11 pints.
