SPINACH STRATA | |
72 Ritz crackers (12 oz. box) 10 oz. Muenster cheese, grated (2 1/2 c.) 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen chopped spinach, thawed & well drained 2 1/2 c. milk 5 eggs 2 tbsp. Dijon style mustard 1/2 tsp. red pepper 2 cloves garlic, crushed In a 2 quart shallow baking dish, arrange 24 crackers slightly overlapping in 3 long rows. Combine cheese and spinach; sprinkle 1/3 over crackers; repeat with 2 additional layers of crackers and cheese, using 24 crackers for each layer and making 3 rows each time. In a medium bowl, beat together milk, eggs, mustard, red pepper and garlic. Pour evenly over baking dish. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until puffed and golden. Serves 6. |
