OUR FAVORITE STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. strawberry Jello, granulated
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
1 qt. fresh strawberries
1 baked pie shell

Combine sugar, strawberry Jello and cornstarch. Add water. Red food coloring may be added if desired. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Let cool about 40 minutes. Fold in the strawberries and pour into baked pie shell. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
