2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 to 4 c. quick cooking oatmeal

Boil together sugar, milk, butter and cocoa for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes (start timing after the mixture reaches a full rolling boil). Remove from heat. Mix in peanut butter and vanilla. Add the oatmeal. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let cool.
