SOUR DOUGH BREAD | |
1 pkg. yeast 1 c. warm water 2 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. oil 1 tsp. salt 4 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 5 1/2 c. flour Mix yeast and warm water. Add remaining ingredients; beat well. Put in covered bowl. Let stand in refrigerator 12 hours. Cut into biscuits. Put what you don't need back in covered bowl. Can be kept in refrigerator a week. Cook at 425-450 degrees for 20-25 minutes. |
