PECAN TARTS 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 sticks butter
2 c. flour

Blend and chill about 2 hours. Pinch off 48 balls and press into small muffin tins.

FILLING:

3 eggs, beat slightly
1 c. sugar
1 c. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans (or you can use walnuts)

Blend and beat all ingredients except nuts. Fill shell 3/4's full and top with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
