SWISS ONIONS 
2 med. Spanish onions, sliced thin
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. grated Swiss cheese
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 c. milk
1 c. buttered bread crumbs

Separate onion slices into rings and saute in butter until golden. Cover pan and simmer 10 minutes. Put into 8 or 9 inch baking dish, season, cover with cheese. Dilute soup with milk and pour over cheese, top with buttered crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. serve over Toast Cups.

TOAST CUPS:

Remove crusts from slices of white bread, flatten slightly with rolling pin. Press into ungreased muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes or until browned.

Serve with a green salad that has bacon bits in it.
