“GRAPE NUT BREAD” IS IN:

GRAPE NUT BREAD 
1 1/3 cup milk, scalded
2/3 cup Grape-Nuts
1/2 cup golden raisins
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 cup sugar
1 whole egg, well beaten
3 Tbsp melted shortening

Pour hot milk over cereal and raisins; let stand until cool. Measure flour, baking powder and salt together. Add egg, vanilla and shortening to cooled cereal.

Add flour mixture and stir.

Pour into a well-buttered loaf pan and bake for 1 hour at 350°F.
