1 1/3 c. butter flavored shortening
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 or 3 1/2 c. flour
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips or double this for twins who like chocolate

Cream the shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Add the other ingredients. Drop from a teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for seven minutes.
