GOLDEN LIGHT POUND CAKE 
2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. honey
1/4 c. corn oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites
1 c. buttermilk

Combine dry ingredients. Beat liquids together and stir into flour mixture. Place batter in lightly oiled pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Variation: You may add raisins, nuts or omit 1/2 cup of buttermilk and add unsweetened applesauce.
