MAUI PINE-CREAM PIE 
2 tbsp. macadamia nuts
2 tsp. lemon rind
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. macadamia nuts
1/3 c. crushed pineapple
4 egg yolks
1/3 c. cornstarch
1 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Prebake a pie crust with 2 tablespoons macadamia nuts and lemon rind. Mix cream cheese, vanilla, and 1/3 cup macadamia nuts. Set aside.

Then combine pineapple, egg yolks, cornstarch, and water in saucepan. Add butter and vanilla. Cook until thick; should resemble flowing lava. Fill crust with cream cheese mixture. Top with cooked filling and whipped cream.
