CHINESE CHEWS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 or 3 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. nuts
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix butter, brown sugar, and flour to crumbly mass and pat in 9 x 13 pan. Bake 10 minutes at 325 degrees.

Meanwhile, mix next 7 ingredients. Spread on crust and bake 20 minutes more. Cut in squares. Good!
