NUTTY YAM BAKE 
3 lg. sweet potatoes/yams
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Butter (pats)

Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender; drain well. Mash potatoes while hot. Add 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup butter, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg; mix well. Beat in eggs and milk; whip well with mixer. Turn into greased 3 quart casserole. Combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup butter until crumbly; mix in nuts and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over top of potato mixture. Dot with butter. Bake in 375 degree oven for 35-40 minutes (may be made ahead and refrigerated).
