BROWNIE DROP COOKIES 
8 oz. sweet baking chocolate
1 tbsp. butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. pecans (optional)

Melt chocolate and butter in top of a double boiler over simmering water. Beat eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar; beat until thickened. Add chocolate mixture; beat well.

Combine flour, powder and salt in mixing bowl. Mix with egg. Beat well. Fold in vanilla and pecans. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool slightly and remove to wire rack. Yield 4 dozen.
