POLISH FROSTING | |
1 c. milk 5 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. Crisco 1/2 c. soft butter 1 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla Put milk and flour in saucepan and place on low heat. Stir constantly. Make a real thick paste. Let set to cool. Must be completely cool. Mix in separate bowl all other ingredients. Whip on high speed and gradually add thick paste. Beat for an additional 2 to 3 minutes. HINT: I usually make my flour paste mixture while cake is baking. |
