JOHN'S BBQ DEER 
Makes deer very tender and removes all that wild taste. Your family will think its beef!

4 lb. deer meat
1 cup vinegar
salt and pepper
soul seasoning
2 bottles honey BBQ sauce
garlic powder
2 large onions

Marinate deer meat in a bowl of water with 2 tablespoons salt, 2 tablespoons garlic powder, 1 tablespoon black pepper and 1 tablespoon soul seasoning for about 12 hours, changing water and ingredients at least twice. Refrigerate while marinating.

Place marinated deer meat in a large pot of water, 1/2 cup of vinegar, 2 tablespoons of salt, 2 tablespoons of black pepper, 2 tablespoons of soul seasoning on medium-high heat for about an hour.

Transfer to a foil packet in a baking dish. Cover with chopped onion and BBQ sauce and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
