ALICE'S BEST MEATLOAF EVER 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 row Ritz type crackers, crushed
2 c. ketchup
1 c. brown sugar

Combine 2 cups ketchup and 1 cup brown sugar. Stir well and set aside. Mix together the first 4 ingredients, add to it 1/2 of the ketchup combination. Shape into loaf in greased pan and top with remaining ketchup combination. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. This melts in your mouth!

I found this recipe 12 years ago and probably made it 30 times or more.
I usually use 1-1/2 or 2 lb ground beef and adjust the ingredients accordingly.
The only change is I only use 1 cup ketchup and 1/4 cup of brown sugar and keep 1/4 or less for the top.
Make lines across the top and sides with a fork so the the ketchup will stay on top.
1 hour at 325°F is not enough time, must bake longer.
