I make these every Christmas and my family and friends look forward for these treats. I let ny nuts set in the bourbon for a few minutes before I make up the batch.

 Phyllis Chittum (Virginia) says:
I made these as part of my Christmas treats. At first, they seemed very strong. The confectioners sugar is quicly absorbed. I rolled in sugar a second time - and then let them air dry a little on wax paper. Everyone raved about these. They will now be added to my yearly sweet treat packages for friends & neighbors.
