CHINESE CHOCOLATE CRISPIES | |
2 c. milk chocolate chips 2 tsp. shortening 2 c. or 1 (7 1/2 oz.) marshmallow cream 3 tbsp. shortening 1/8 tsp. salt 1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles or 2 c. 1/4 c. chopped nuts Melt over, not boiling water chips and shortening. Mix well and spread into greased square pan. Chill for 10 minutes. Combine over hot water, cream shortening, salt and noodles until smooth. Spread over chilled chocolate layer and sprinkle nuts on top. Press down and chill until firm. Cut into squares. |
