CUCUMBER YOGURT SAUCE | |
1/2 c. cucumber, thinly sliced Salt 2 tbsp. minced fresh dill (1/2 tbsp. dry) 1 clove garlic, crushed & chopped fine 1/2 c. plain yogurt White pepper, to taste Place cucumber slices on a plate. Sprinkle with salt and set aside for 30 minutes. Rinse off salt and pat slices dry. Coarsely chop cucumber and combine with remaining ingredients. Add salt to taste. Yields about 1 cup sauce or 2-3 servings. Great served over baked salmon steaks! |
