SIRLOIN BEEF TIPS | |
15 lbs. beef cubes 2 tbsp. garlic powder 4 tbsp. salt 1 1/2 qts. chipped celery 2 qts. chopped onions 1 qts. green peppers, chopped 5 1/2 qts. water 1 tbsp. black pepper 1/2 c. cooking sherry 1/2 c. gravy coloring 3 c. flour 3 c. cold water Cook beef cubes in 16 x 20 x 4 inch pans over high heat for 30 minutes. Add all ingredients except sherry and thickening. In 350 degree oven, cook for 45 minutes, add thickening and sherry. Cook 15 minutes. Serve on hot biscuits, rice, or noodles, pattie shells, etc. NOTE: Bottom round can substitute for beef cubes. |
