RUSSIAN TEA SCONES 
Crumble together (this is very easily done in a food processor) :

2 c. flour
4 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1 c. black raisins

Stir in by hand (if you do this in the processor, the scones will be too finely grained, like cake) :

1 egg
1/2 c. cream
1/2 c. milk

Spoon batter into greased muffin tins. Bake at 325 degrees about 30 minutes or until crusty brown. Serve cold with butter and jam. Or use whipped cream instead of butter. Makes 12 big muffins.
