KOLACKY (Slovak Nut Rolls) 
1/2 c. sweet cream or evaporated milk
1 cake yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 lb. butter
3 egg yolks
Filling - apricots, nuts or poppy seed

Combine first 3 ingredients and let stand 5 minutes. Mix the next 3 ingredients (flour, butter and egg yolks). Add yeast mixture and work with hands until dough is not sticky.

Roll out thin, 1 small piece at a time. Fill and roll. Put on a cookie sheet and set aside for about 20 minutes in a warm place. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
