1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Add dry ingredients. Form dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in mixture of 2 teaspoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Place cookies on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 7-10 minutes.
