MARINATED CUCUMBERS 
2 c. thinly sliced Spanish onions
2 cucumbers, thinly sliced
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine onion and cucumbers. Heat the sugar, vinegar and salt to boiling. Pour over the onion and cucumbers. Refrigerate overnight, stirring occasionally. Makes 6 servings.
