MARINATED CUCUMBERS 
2 lg. cucumbers thinly sliced (burpless)
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. white vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 sm. onion, thinly sliced

In medium bowl, toss cucumbers and 1 tablespoon salt. Let stand 30 minutes; drain in colander; press out liquid. Discard liquid and return cucumbers to bowl; add vinegar, sugar, pepper and onion and mix well. Cover and refrigerate.
