7 c. sliced cucumbers (not peeled)
1 c. onion slices
1 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. white vinegar

Put vinegar, sugar, salt and celery seed in small pot and bring to a boil (until sugar dissolves). Pour over cucumbers, cover and let stand overnight. Will keep for several days. Very good!
