CREAMED DRIED BEEF 
1 lb. chipped dried beef
4 tbsp. butter
8 tbsp. flour
1 qt. milk
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Toast slices

Cook dried beef in butter over medium heat until edges drizzle. Meanwhile, mix the flour and milk (a gravy shaker works well). Pour the leftover milk onto the dried beef. Add the Worcestershire sauce. Add the flour/milk mixture, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly. (Heat extra milk in case it gets too thick). Spread over toast. The flavor is enhanced if allowed to simmer slowly an hour before serving.

It's even better as a leftover. Add milk to thin during reheating.
