1 head lettuce, torn up
1 lb. bacon, fried
2-4 chopped green onions
1 med. diced tomato
Croutons, browned in butter, sprinkled with garlic salt, perhaps 1 c. croutons

DRESSING:

Pour 1 cup boiling water over 1 raw egg in the shell. Let set 2 minutes. Remove egg and break into blender; break until thick. Add slowly 2/3 cup oil, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, dash of garlic salt. Beat until thick and chill. Toss salad ingredients with dressing.
