SESAME SEED BUTTER (TAHINI) | |
1 1/2 c. unhulled sesame seeds 1/4 c. sesame seed oil 1 tbsp. honey (optional) Place sesame seeds in a shallow pan and roast at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Cool and place in a blender. Cover and blend on medium speed until the seeds are finely ground. Add the oil (and honey if used) slowly, blending and stirring until creamy. Yields about 1 1/2 cups. |
