SOURDOUGH 
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. plain flour
1 c. milk

FEEDING DOUGH: Feed every 4 days using a wooden spoon. Stir in sugar, flour and milk mixture. Mixture will be lumpy. Do not bake dough the same day you feed it.

BISCUITS:

1 c. dough
1/4 c. melted butter
1 c. self-rising flour

Add the melted butter to dough. Sift the dry ingredients. Dough will be sticky. Add more flour if you roll out with hands. Drop on greased cookie sheet.

Let stand for 20 minutes. Bake 10-12 minutes at 425 degrees.

FOR BREAD: Double the biscuit recipe. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes in a bread pan.
