GRITS & CHEESE CASSEROLE | |
1 c. grits (white or yellow) cook as instructed on pkg. 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter 1 lb. processed American cheese spread, cubed 1/2 tsp. Tabasco 3 eggs, beaten Cook grits until thick. Remove from heat and add butter, cheese and hot sauce, stirring until butter and cheese melts. Beat eggs until foamy. Gradually stir about 1/4 of the grits mix into eggs, then add that to rest of grits, stirring constantly. Pour into buttered 10 x 6 x 2 inch dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
