GRITS - SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 c. quick cooking grits
1 lb. sausage, cooked & drained
6 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 to 2 tbsp. picante sauce
1 tbsp. minced dehydrated onion

Cook grits according to package directions. Combine all and spoon into greased shallow 2 quart dish. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 8.

This is a good casserole. I used chicken broth to cook the grits instead of water. Also used Vidalia onion and cooked it with the sausage. The picante sauce makes the taste, I used 2 tbsp. Thank you for the recipe!
