BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
1/2 c. regular grits, uncooked 4 eggs 1 lb. bulk sausage 1 tsp. salt 2 c. water 1 c. milk 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese Crumble sausage; brown, drain and set aside. Beat eggs; stir in grits, water, milk, cheese and salt and sausage. Pour into a greased oblong 3-quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45-50 minutes or until completely set in center. (Can be mixed ahead of time and refrigerated until morning, making this a great Christmas morning breakfast.) |
