SOFT PRETZELS 
1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
1 egg
Some coarse salt

Measure warm water and pour into bowl, sprinkle with yeast and stir. Add salt, sugar and flour. Mix well and knead dough. Make dough into small balls. Grease cookie sheet. Roll balls of dough into snakes and twist to make pretzel figures. Place on cookie sheets and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until brown.
