1 pt. fresh strawberries
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 lb. crushed vanilla wafers
1/2 lb. marshmallows
1 c. whipping cream

Dissolve marshmallows in the milk placing pan over hot water or very low heat. Cool and fold in strawberries that have been crushed and sweetened with 1/2 cup sugar. Then fold in stiffly whipped cream. Place 1/2 of vanilla wafers in bottom of a 2 quart tray. Pour in strawberry mixture and cover with remaining crumbs. Cool for several hours.
