“THE BEST PORK RIBS” IS IN:

THE BEST PORK RIBS
Pork ribs (any variety)
1 bottle barbeque sauce (I prefer Sweet Baby Rays)
1 c. Orange Juice

Mix together Barbeque Sauce and orange juice. Lay ribs in a baking pan and pour BBQ mixture over the top. The ribs should be nearly submerged in the BBQ mix.

Cover pan with foil and set oven to 250°F

Option 1: Cook for approx. 3 hrs (depending on amount of meat). Remove from pan and serve. The meat will be juicy and delicious and it should literally fall right off the bone. If you cook them this way they are EXCELLENT but its nearly impossible to eat them with your hands.

Option 2: Cook meat for about 2 hrs, remove from oven and transfer to hot grill. While on grill, continue to brush with BBQ mix from pan. They should only need a few minutes on each side. The BBQ sauce should get a bit crispy, and although the meat isn't quite as tender this way, they will still be quite tasty and much easier to serve and eat.

Great recipe, works with other meats, too, like chicken legs. I make it without the OJ, use a little white wine instead. I like the Kraft BBQ sauce, just pour it over the ribs, then rinse the bottle with wine and water and fill the pan. This also works in a slow cooker. If you want to minimize the fat, just sear the ribs in a fry pan first, then transfer to a pot to braise.

Taste was excellent. But went with option one, and it was definitely NOT 'fall off the bone' tender. May make again, but will have to cook longer next time.

A very simple recipe. I used option 1 and it was better than some restaurants i've been to. The meat just fell off the bones. We used pork side ribs. They were very tasty. Thank-you.

Sorry for the dissent but my family and I did not care for this recipe. The ribs are very tender, but they are not what I think of as barbecue ribs, they are more like a short ribs recipe, or a bbq rib stew. Any fat in the ribs doesn't go away, it's just harder to see with all the sauce. The fat that does melt goes right into the sauce, so this must have a zilion calories. Don't get me wrong, I love tender ribs but this goes too far. Maybe if the ribs were removed from the fat-gravy and broiled for 5 minutes, they would be firmer, I will try that tonight with the many leftovers. On the plus side, they are amazingly tender.

Loved this recipe...Loved the sauce. We did option 2 and it was an easy grilled rib recipe without spending an hour at the grill. Thanks!

My husban and I just love this recipe. We both enjoy our meat tender and cooked off the bone. This recipe was the best I ever had.

I have made these a few times and they are great. Sometimes I just soak the ribs in the OJ then lay out some foil, slather on BBQ sauce, and then bake in oven for a couple hours or until done. Everyone loves them!
