SPINACH MUSHROOM CASSEROLE 
2 pkgs. frozen chopped spinach
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. fresh mushrooms
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
Garlic salt

Slice and saute mushrooms and onions in 2 tablespoons butter. Cook spinach and drain well and place in bottom of shallow casserole dish. Sprinkle with salt and 1/4 cup melted butter.

Layer 1/2 cup grated cheese over spinach; add mushrooms. Sprinkle with garlic salt and remaining cheese. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees (325 degrees glass dish). May make ahead and refrigerate then bake. Serves 6 to 8.
