ELIZABETH'S PEANUT BRITTLE | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. white syrup (Karo) 1/4 c. cold water 1 1/2 c. raw peanuts 1 tsp. baking soda Bring sugar, syrup and water to a full boil. Add 1 1/2 cups boiled peanuts. Boil to a medium tan color or a burnt smell. Add baking soda; stir quickly. Pour onto buttered aluminum foil. Let cool and break into pieces. |
