FROZEN CUCUMBERS 
2 qts. cucumbers, peeled & sliced
1 onion, sliced
2 tbsp. salt
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar

Sprinkle cucumbers and onions with salt and soak for 2 hours. Drain and rinse with water and drain again. Mix sugar and vinegar; add to cucumbers and onions. Divide mixture in half and freeze in quart containers. Will keep in freezer six months and comes out crisp, believe it or not. I usually freeze them in smaller containers.
