FROZEN CUCUMBER ROUNDS 
Approx. 2 qt. cucumbers, sliced paper thin
1 lg. onion, sliced thin
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. salt
1 c. cider vinegar

Heat sugar in vinegar to dissolve. Let cool.

Place cucumbers, onions and salt in large container, cover with cold water. Stir well and let stand in refrigerator at least 2 hours or even overnight. Drain. Pour sugar-vinegar mixture over cucumbers and onions. Mix well. Put in freezer containers, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.

Freeze. May start eating these next day after freezing. They keep indefinitely in the refrigerator after thawing. THESE DO NOT CAUSE INDIGESTION.
