3/4 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
3 c. Mothers Best cake flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
6 egg whites
Lemon or vanilla flavoring

Cream sugar and shortening. Sift flour, salt and baking powder and mix in. Beat eggs and fold in last. Bake in a 350 degree oven.
