4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. shortening
1 heaping c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and shortening as for pie crust. In another bowl add soda to sugar and blend. Add beaten eggs, milk, vanilla, then mix in flour.

Roll out 1/8 inch thick on floured board. Cut into desired shapes. Bake at 370 degrees until brown. Ice and decorate.
