BOWL #1:
2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1-2 tsp. vanilla

BOWL #2:
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. butter

Beat sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add butter; mix well. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Chill dough and roll out on floured surface, cut into shape, bake at 350 degrees. Also can roll into balls; pat down.
