GERMAN CHOCOLATE CARAMEL BARS 
14 oz. Kraft caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. real chocolate chips

Unwrap caramels, melt caramels with 1/2 cup evaporated milk. Melt in Pyrex dish in microwave in medium setting while making other mixture. Combine dry mixture with softened butter, evaporated milk and nuts. Stir until dough holds together. Press half of dough in 9 x 13 inch pan.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
