1 lb. pecan halves 1 egg white 1 tbsp. water 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Beat egg white and water until frothy, not stiff. Add pecans and mix well. to coat the nuts. Mix sugar, salt and cinnamon together. Add the egg white coated nuts and coat well with sugar mix. Place on shallow buttered pan and bake at 225 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and store. |
